Our various areas
The Pool Area
Our Lyon Plage spa offers you a complete range of hydrotherapy facilities.
Enjoy two swimming pools:
- The Olympic-size swimming pool open during the summer season
- the 25 m indoor swimming pool, heated year-round, and the Jacuzzi
- The Grotto, a 200 m² indoor relaxation pool heated to 35°, with waterfalls, hydromassage jets and bubble beds
The Spa is also equipped with Lyon’s only open-air hydrotherapy circuit, heated year-round to 37°!
You will also find relaxation in our saunas and steam room.
Relaxation areas
600 m² of spaces dedicated to well-being. Three spaces with sauna, hammam and sanarium cabins. These facilities are complemented by infrared seats, an ice fountain and hot/cold foot baths.
The Fitness Area
Fitness enthusiasts will be happy in the cardio-training room equipped with the latest Technogym® machines: elliptical bike, treadmill, rower, stair climber, traditional and semi-recumbent bikes, Vario elliptical, cable station and weight equipment. A team of professional coaches is at your disposal to advise you and guide you in your fitness practice.
Beauty Salon
Hôtel Lyon Métropole has its own beauty salon and massage centre. It features body and face treatments and relaxing, slimming and firming massages; as well as hand and foot treatments, and waxing services.

The Iyashi Area, healing water treatments
Immerse yourself in a gentle relaxation realm as you explore our healing water area and exclusive treatments for relaxing body and mind. You can also rent the Iyashi Area for three hours for a private retreat for two people.

Practical Information:
The Spa Lyon Plage welcomes you from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The outdoor olympic-size pool is open during the summer season (annual closure: October 15, 2023).
From Monday 02/10/2023, and until its annual closure (15/10/2023), the outdoor Olympic swimming pool will only be open from Friday to Sunday inclusive, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Following upkeep and maintenance operations, we inform you that:
- Grotto indoor pool will be closed from Monday 11/12/2023 to Friday 15/12/2023 inclusive.
All aquatic and wellness facilities will remain available during these periods.
We inform you that the Spa Lyon Plage will exceptionally close its doors at 6 p.m. on Sundays 24 and 31/12.
